Ms. Emily Holt

Hi there! I’m Emily Holt— a second grade teacher at Hillcrest PDS. This will be my 4th year teaching 2nd grade (my absolute favorite grade!) I graduated from Baylor in 2017 with a degree in Marketing and Corporate Communications. After graduation, I spent 2 years living in the Dominican Republic where I did marketing for a mission organization that operates a school there. After moving back to Texas I earned my teaching certification and was hired at HPDS. I have been married to my husband, Connar (a pilot and Baylor grad!), for 4 amazing years. We have a newborn daughter named Molly and a 4 year old dog named Oliver. As a family, we love traveling, cooking, discovering new coffee shops, and walks with Molly & Ollie. Teaching is my passion and I am so grateful to get to do it at a school as amazing as Hillcrest!
