Mr. Kevin Rivera

This is my tenth year teaching and my second year at Hillcrest PDS.  My family is deeply invested in Waco's public education: my parents are retired Waco ISD teachers,  my brothers and I are products of Waco ISD schools, and my daughter will start at Hillcrest this year.  I'm lucky to be surrounded by excellent co-workers at Hillcrest PDS who drive and support each other towards a common goal.  My part in this is to provide students a foundation for an art practice of their own and to help them contextualize art through different perspectives.
